The connector road on the map below extends beyond the borders of this map, and construction on several segments has already begun. When the portion of the road shown below is complete, it will likely pull most of the traffic off of the existing Stone Spring Road, as the new road will be wider and provide easier and faster access between South Main Street and Port Republic Road.
